Starting as an idea BLVDblack was born.We didn't have any inventory in house, just an idea and a couple cameras. We understood fast fashion was on the rise for years and we decided to capitalize on that trend using direct marketing tactics we saw work on many other brands. The product that grew our customer base was not just a fashion statement but actually a solution in that market. We saw that our audience was everyday workers. Workers who clocked in the warehouse ready for a day's work. Not only did that audience want a safe and fashionable shoe but they wanted something dependable that could last for years.
